Biography

Prior to joining our firm, Attorney Joanna Toft Funk was a solo practitioner serving the Hanover area with her office in the Markets of Hanover on Broadway.  She practices Family Law, PFA’s, Criminal Law, PCRA’s , Estate Planning, Automobile and Lemon Law, Criminal Law, Estate Planning, Civil, Bankruptcy, and Appellate Law.

A graduate of Delone Catholic High School and an Honors/Cum Laude graduate of Lebanon Valley College, she received her Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law.  Attorney Toft Funk was the Law Clerk to the Senior Judges of York County (Cassimatis, Erb, Miller and Horn). During her clerkship, she had experience with Juvenile Dependencies and Delinquencies, Orphans Court, Family Law, Civil and Criminal Law.  Her experience in research and International Law helped Judge Cassimatis in his role as an advocate for Juveniles in the International Tribunal for Human Rights.  She has also served as an Arbitrator in both York and Adams Counties.

Attorney Toft Funk’s  passion for victims’ rights was recognized by the Hanover YWCA in 2015 as a speaker for the Candlelight Vigil.  Since then, she has been active helping PTSD survivors in many roles including her involvement as a Board member of Roots for Boots, and the Veterans Outreach Board which raise money for and support veterans’ medical and physical needs.

Joanna Toft Funk is an active member of the York County Bar Association, as well as the Adams County legal community. She participated in the Bar Stools 2017 production to raise money for those in need of legal services.

Attorney Toft Funk will  divide her time between our main office in York and our new office located in the Markets of Hanover on Broadway
